Timelapse: Above the clouds in Emeishan, China

At the top of Mount Emei, we are way up above the clouds. They billow around us, blossoming and rolling as they obscure our vision. The mountains around us are carpeted in deep green and, when there’s a gap in the cloud, you can see for miles. But most of what you see is cloud – just like when you look out of the window in an aeroplane and you are in another universe, a place of fantasy that is a world away from the earth below. The clouds come and go, revealing and concealing, flowing past and rising up. This time lapse gives you a bit of an idea of the experience:
